Keynote speakers
Have something "running" between classes... a video, song...
Use ipods in English class. Have students create (revision skills) and produce. Interview skills. In class have an auditory quiz on what was heard.
Used wiki for review for exams. In past had paper on wall for students to write on. Now use 6 laptops and groups rotate and add/comment on previous. End of day, plenty for review. Towards end of day, could use class notes to add, and then copies of old exams. Online for everyone to then study, not on paper in corner of room.
12 Angry Men-created videos on importance of jury duty.
Create poems using Voicethread so others can comment on. If on wiki, only invited can comment. Can embed Voicethread into wiki.
